Studio 2 is predominantly designed for news and weather packages, allowing students to work in parallel with Gallery 1, often offering inserts for large programs.

The studio is home to four television cameras, providing green and blue screening. News and weather events are often performed with virtual sets created by computer-generated graphics.

First year students use Studio 2 as part of the Technical Communication course. This involves a 5 minute live presentation supported by PowerPoint which is recorded for later dissection. The presentations are also broadcast via this site.
