3.1.8.2 Installing and Using Standard Yum

• yum install gnupg Get the gnu privacy guard
• rpm -e yum Note that this erases the current version of yum
• rpm -i <yum from duke/freshrpms> Pull and install standard yum
• edit /etc/yum.conf as required
• yum update
