About

I'm currently studying for my PhD in the research area of optimising compilers. At the moment I'm looking at a structure called the Value State Dependence Graph (VSDG), and looking at problems with creating an optimising compiler using the VSDG as an intermediate representation. I'm doing implementation work with LLVM. If you'd like to know more, just get in touch. My supervisor is Dr. Des Watson. My desk is in Pevensey III, 5C11.

As of January 2010, I'm acting as one of the Postgraduate Research Student Reps. If you've got any concerns or queries please feel free to get in touch.

My CV is available here. Alternatively, just have a look around the website!

Research interests

My main research interest is in high-level language compilers (particularly code optimisation and intermediate representations) and programming languages. It's safe to say that most of computer science interests me, however. :-)
