Partial Sabbatical 2007/08
In the academic year 2007/08 I have a partial sabbatical that means I
shall be partially absent for some periods, and wholly absent (even
incommunicado) for other periods.
Autumn 2007
For this period I am at Sussex all the time, as normal: teaching
the Artificial Life course, running the EASy MSc, etc
and available as normal.
Jan 2008 to Sep 2008
I have no direct timetabled teaching commitments in this period,
and will be concentrating on research. For some periods I shall be
fully absent on
research visits (and vacation) -- usually in email contact but
sometimes
not. During this period Ezequiel
Di Paolo will act as Convenor for the EASy MSc.
I shall keep in as regular contact as possible with my research
students during this period, whether avroad or not - email and Skype
and video-conferencing.
