This course is assessed 100% by course work. This will consist of:-
1) An individual presentation by each student. This will take place sometime during weeks 8, 9 and 10 and is worth 50% of the course marks.
2) A technical report to be submitted by Thursday of week 6 and its draft version submitted by Thursday of week 3 (together worth 50% of course marks).
These should be submitted to the Informatics Departmental Office before 4pm on Thursday 23rd Oct. 2006 and before 4pm on Thursday 13th Nov 2008.
There will be various other exercises during the course. Although
these do not form part of the formal assessment,
they are included for your benefit. They also may help inform me when
writing
comments on your performance on the
course or in providing references for future employers.
There are hints and help available for both these exercises
available in
various places (including on this site).
