    08:   Co-organized and chaired 'From Alife to Mind': First formal session on consciousness at an Artificial Life international conference.

    07:   Awarded EPSRC Leadership Fellowship, 'Towards a Next Generation Computational Neuroscience', value ~1,300,000 GBP. Ranked #1 by panel.

    06:   Promoted to Senior Lecturer.

    06:  Animal Consciousness: Towards a Scientific Description and Natural History.  A plenary symposium at  ASSC11 organized with David Edelman, and with guest speakers Bjorn Merker, Irene Pepperberg, and Graziano Fiorito.
