3.1.4 PlanetLab DevBox

• Can I develop and test on a private PlanetLab machine? Yes - use PlanetLab DevBox
• PlanetLab Linux kernel and set of RPMs (vserver utils and resource management stuff) on an FC2 box
• DevBox has been tested on FC2 not FC3
• Once installed, you'll be able to log into a vserver with the PlanetLab environment
• DevBox allows you to:
  • develop and test your PlanetLab code before deployment
  • study how the PlanetLab system software works and allows you to modify it
  • hack at the PlanetLab kernel
