Multi-Service Networks (2009)

Originally derived from annual workshops associated with several large collaborative multiservice network projects of the 1980s, this workshop has been a regular event since 1988. For 10 years it was organized by the Advanced Communications Unit (ACU) at RAL. It has been regularly supported in recent years by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). In 2001 it was jointly organized by CLRC-RAL and UKERNA with financial support from EPSRC. In 2002, it was organized by UKERNA, with financial support from CLRC & EPSRC. In 2003 it was sponsored and organized by UKERNA. It is held each summer at The Cosener's House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.

The Brendan Murphy prize for the best presentation was won by Gareth Tyson.

The tentative dates for next year's workshop are July 10-11 2014. We have now passed organisational responsibility across from Ian Wakeman to Iain Phillips at Loughborough and Hamed Haddaddi at QMUL.
