The vision of pervasive or ubiquitous computing promises to dramatically increase the number of networked devices in our everyday environment.

We are exploring issues involved in building a system that enables users to employ descriptions of how they want their environment to be tailored (i.e. their policies) with reference to the services that are available to them.
