Welcome to Daisyworld & Beyond, a research network focussing on the nature of feedback control systems, organised around the investigation and application of the daisyworld model and its variants.

UPDATE on Lisbon Conference:

The Daisyworld & MEP workshop is now confirmed for 8th & 9th September 2007 with a half day tutorial on the morning of 10th September at the Centro Cultural de Belem, Lisbon: http://www.ccb.pt/ccb. The workshop will immediately proceed the European Conference on Artificial Life which will run from the 10th to 14th September at the same location.

The network was initially supported by the EPSRC (Award N23264), which funded three workshops at the University of Sussex and University of Edinburgh in order to facilitate the dissemination of relevant work and to encourage interdisciplinary research in this area.

As a focus for research in this area, we encourage researchers to register their interest by becoming a member and by using the network to exchange information, ideas and proposals with other members.

Members may also be interested in the NANIA - "Novel Approaches to Networks of Interacting Autonomes" Research Cluster.
