Downloading Papers

• The majority of papers available are in postscript format (.ps suffix). Free postscript viewers can be downloaded for UNIX, PC or Mac from the Ghostscript homepage.
• Many papers are also presented in PDF format (.pdf suffix). You will need an Adobe Acrobat Reader (available free) to view these files.
• Most online papers are also available in compressed form - using gzip - these have a .gz suffix. If you do not have this gzip, you can download it free from the gzip homepage in MS-Dos, Windows, Mac or Unix/Linux formats. The PC application Winzip can also be used to uncompress .gz files.
