Research Interests

I have recently started my DPhil and am still exploring various possible research foci. Currently I am interested in the minimal environmental conditions necessary for life processes to (a) come into existence and (b) continue to exist.

More specifically, I am interested in how the presence of life appears to have the effect of expanding the environment within which it is capable of surviving.
