Research Interests

My main area of interest is with visual navigation of autonomous robots. In particular, the use of biological models of insect navigation for direction in the design of algorithms for robotic navigation in large-scale environments.

Recently, I have also been working with Matt Quinn and Phil Husbands on a BNSC-funded project for which we have evolved coordinated, collaborative behaviour for a group of real robots.
