Research Interests

My research interests comprise the use of AI techniques in control, bio- inspired systems, neuroscience, and behaviour-based evolutive and adaptable systems. I have applied AI and ER techniques to investigate adaptive methods in robot control and behaviour coordination. Further research is now being embarked on self-organizing bio-inspired systems with highly robust properties applicable to autonomous systems research from a scientific and technologic approach. I am also interested in investigating possibilities to identify principles and new insights in adaptive systems areas trough models based on Nature.
