The Dynamical
Systems Approach to Life and Cognition (DSaLC for short) understands life and cognition as the
ongoing coupling between agents and their environment. The aim of this reading group is to promote
the discussion on how DSaLC tackles a range of
topics. |
|
We have regular
meetings
twice a month, during term time, and organise
other activities, including
workshops and talks by invited speakers. |

activate.d workshop @ Ecal 2005:
activate.d organised the workshop
Active agents and their environments as dynamical systems
during Ecal 2005 (5th to 9th of September) in Canterbury,
UK. The papers are now online in the
conference's
website. A special issue of the Adaptive Behaviour
Journal constituted by papers from that workshop (updated versions
incorporating contributions from the discussions) has now [info updated July 2006] been published in vol.14:2. |
|
In accordance
with a suggestion
put forward by participants, an
online discussion group was created for the follow-up of the
vivid discussion we maintained during the roundtable discussion
at the workshop. Everyone (having
attended
or not) is invited to join in. See
the Google
box below to subscribe. |
