Assignments

You are required to complete four assignments for Object-Oriented Programming. Together they all count for 50% of the course's final mark. Assignments 1 and 4 are worth 10% and 25% of the final mark respectively. They are about developing a Java program and should be done individually; this means that once you start working on the starting programs of these assignments you should work on your own. Also, if you use any libraries other than the Java API, you should make that clear in the internal documentation of the program. Plagiarism and collusion will be dealt according to the penalties and procedures of the university. Have a look at the university's pages on plagiarim, and in particular at the powerpoint presentation on this topic. These assignments also have a set, non-negotiable deadline. Assignments handed in after the deadline will receive penalties applicable to formal submission as specified by the School of Informatics.

Assignments 2 and 3 are related with activities performed in the seminar (lab) sessions. Assignment 2 counts for 5% and 3 for 10% of the final mark of the course. If you are not able to attend either of these sessions let the course tutor know at the beginning of the term to make alternative arrangements.

The following links describe each of these assignments in more detail.
