Research Interests
My research interests focus on development, I'm interested in understanding how the behavioural capabilities of young animals and infants are constructed through ontogeny. Current work involves using evolutionary robotics to evolve minimal developmental systems which can be used to explore ontogenetic adaptation and to generate novel research questions. Other interests include social development, sensorimotor dynamics and the use of homeostatic mechanisms in conjunction with plastic CTRNNs.
